Hari Om Tatsat Jai Guru Datta
Dattatreya (Sanskrut: दत्तात्रेय, Dattātreya) or Datta is considered by Hindus to be god who is an incarnation of the Divine Trinity BRAMA, VISHNU and SHIVA. The word Datta means "Given", Datta is called so because the divine trinity have "given" themselves in the form of a son to the sage couple ATRI and ANASUYA, He is the son of Atri, hence the name "Atreya."In the NATH TRADITION Dattatreya is recognized as an AVTAR or incarnation of the Lord VISHNU and as the Adi-Guru (First Teacher) of the ADINATH SAMPRADAYA of the Naths. Although Dattatreya is at first a "Lord of Yoga".He is a very old, still alive as a guru tatva,he can be present in a physical form as per the above picture. Millions of hindus worships him.
Lord Dattatreya is portrayed with three faces as the unity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Datta is the omni-presence we call God; is Brahman; is Father, son and Holy spirit. Lord Datta is Sadguru, the Guru of all gurus, the very essence of the teachings of every avatar, prophet, saint and yogi.
A super simple mantra of Lord Dattatreya which gives peace of mind, health and brings automatic changes on every level of our being. Try to chant the mantra as per following procedure and have the blessings of lord dattatreya.
The mantra is a gift to the whole of humanity and carries within it the Divine Energy of the Universe.
It can be practiced by anyone, regardless of caste, colour, creed, religion or sex.
We do not charge anyone for this Mantra, and anyone can practice it.
The spiritual head of this organisation, His Holiness Maharishi Punitachariji(affectionately called ‘Bapu’) received this mantra in a Divine Vision after performing more than 35 years of intensive spiritual practice. In Bapu's own words:
Deep within us is a single, Pure Consciousness that is omnipresent, prevailing everywhere. Everywhere this outer consciousness is the Father of all, but it is only when we turn inside that we meet him.
Our true Father (our Higher Self) is never deluded or distracted by the differences in colour, quality, nature, caste, creed or religion of any of His children.
He sees in each of them equally His own splendour, which is pure Bliss.
Let us take new birth in our recognition of Him within ourselves. This is the supreme achievement of our lives; our only purpose; our blissful destiny.

Mantra - is the repetition of a series of sounds that help to raise energy and focus the mind. Repeating a mantra elevates consciousness and helps to calm the mind, which makes meditation much easier.
A mantra is a Divine sound vibration that can be chanted out loud or repeated silently to oneself, both methods are effective but many people find chanting out loud easier if they are new to meditation. When proficient in both silent and verbal japa, you can switch between methods when needed. If the mind gets tired of silent japa, you can utilise loud repetition of the mantra to aid your concentration.
Continued repetition of a mantra creates a special vibration. It purifies the physical body and fills the mind with spiritual vitality. Constant and prolonged repetition of the mantra creates positive effects on all aspects of your mind, body and soul.
When the practice develops, every pore in the skin, every hair on the body, will repeat the mantra on its own. The mantra acts as a shield against negativity and helps us keep a calm, positive state of mind throughout the day.
Your practice - While practicing japa, you can concentrate on the sound vibrations of the mantra, on the deity of the mantra or else you can be aware that you are simply meditating. Singing the mantra to music is also acceptable. You can use chanting beads called a mala or a rosery to help your concentration if you wish.
The mantra - The mantra we use for our japa practice is ‘Hari Om Tatsat Jai Guru Datta’. A technique to deepen the effect of the mantra using the breath.

When you have learned the mantra, you can chant it anywhere you feel comfortable, there is no restriction to the amount of japa practice you can do but you may find it helpful to build up the amount of repetitions slowly. It is also recommended to chant a consistent amount of repetitions each day if possible.

Spiritual(Healing) through Spontaneous Meditation
Meditation is an intensely personal and spiritual experience. The desired purpose of each meditation technique is to channel normal waking consciousness into a more positive direction by totally transforming one`s state of mind. To meditate is to turn inwards, to concentrate on the inner self.
Meditation is not necessarily a religious practice, but because of its spiritual element it forms an integral part of most religions. And even though the basic objective of most meditation styles remain the same and are performed in a state of inner and outer stillness, they all vary according to the specific religious framework within which they are placed.
Spirituality involves the recognition and acceptance of a God beyond our own intelligence and with whom we can have a relationship. This God can provide an experience of inspiration, joy, security, peace of mind, and guidance that goes beyond what is possible in the absence of the conviction that such a power exists.
Spiritual healing is when energy is transmitted to the person who needs it. The treatment works on the body, mind and spirit, which are seen as one unit that must harmonize for good health. If a separate healer is involved, the healer will place the hand on the person being treated to channel the energy from the Higher Source. The spiritual healing can help mental and emotional problems and physical conditions such as a frozen shoulder.
“Meditation simplifies our outer life and energizes our inner life. Meditation gives us a natural and spontaneous life, a life that becomes so natural and spontaneous that we cannot breathe without being conscious of our own divinity.”

What is the Mantra?
A mantra is a sequence of sounds and syllables, placed in a particular order. All mantras contain an inbuilt energy, which can be realised and understood through regular meditation and repetition of the mantra.
Just as we listen to slow bass filled music to calm and relax us, and fast tempo music to energise us, we can listen to or repeat a mantra to benefit from the vast energy stored within it.
Meditation is by its very nature a challenge to the modern mind, which prefers to focus on the outer world, however when practiced regularly the mantra allows meditation to happen spontaneously (sahaja dhyan).
By meditating regularly, and spending time in contemplation, the mind starts to focus on our own inner world, bringing harmony to body, mind and spirit, leading tospiritual growth, inner peace and strength. The clarity gained through meditation allows for profound new insights, transforming life as we live it
The mantra ‘Hari Om Tatsat Jai Guru Datta’ was received by Bapu during a Divine Vision after more than 35 years of intensive spiritual practice, and is a gift to the evolution of the whole of humanity, from Lord Datta.
The mantra can be practiced by anyone, regardless of religion, colour, caste, creed or sex.

This mantra however, is a gift to all humanity. There are no restrictions on who can and cannot use it.
The mantra is for anyone and everyone, and it can be passed on by anyone.

Spontaneous Meditation
Maharshri punitachariji is a saint ,who experienced devine vision of Lord dattatreya in a physical form on 15th November 1975, after hard tapa-sadhna for many years at Mount Girnar.Lord datta pleased to accept him as a disciple on that day, asked Bapu to give a vardan ,what he wish, but Maharshriji told that I don't want any thing when you meet me,if you want to give any thing, please give something for the benefit for entire humanbeings ,who is strugglling in life to achive peace. Lord Dattatreya pleased to hear this sentence of Bapushri. At this time bapushri herd a chanting-(Dhun )of Maha mantra," HARI OM TATSAT JAI GURUDATT "in a classical raga ,all devi-devta were singing this Dhun. Bhagvan datta pointed that it is a mantra, you can give it to all people. The divine mantra is a word form of Dattatreya, which gives stage of meditation without any afforts.
On chanting the mystic words “Hari Om Tatsat Jai Guru Datta” for a few minutes, process of transfer of omnipresent potent energy of Supreme Guru gets started automatically in the body of the chanter. This process of transfer is known as “Shaktipat”. As a result many subtle yogic activities ( sometimes gross also ) begin spontaneously in the body of the chanter. Consequently, the purification process of the body and the mind begins leading to the awakening and the rise of the dormant power, also known as Kundalini, in the body. By sitting quietly with eyes closed for some time the chanter attains the meditative state spontaneously without any effort on his/her part. This is known as “Sahaja Yoga Path”. The practice of daily chanting leads the chanter through different inner experiences and eventually to the stage of “Sahaja Trance”. In other words this process leads him to attain the goal of life i.e. Self-realisation.It is essential that the chanting should be carried out with complete faith and confidence in these esoteric words (mystic mantra) and supreme Guru i.e. Lord Datta.
This is a gift from Lord dattatreya for entire humanbeings to Maharshri punatachariji for peace and happiness of life without leaving their cast, religion and guru.
Physiological effects of meditation on the body and the mind are well-known. However a few of them are listed below:
Following the technique described above the seeker need not do anything except chanting and sitting quietly.

MEANING OF THE MANTRA :
Mantras don't mean something rather than are something. A mantra is a word or phrase of power, of salvation , whose effects are known to be beneficial on every level of life. Because each word of a mantra contains the fulfillness of life, a mantra does not read like a sentence. But if it did, HARI OM TATSAT JAI GURUDATTA would appear something like glory to Lord Datta, the eternal reality cncompassing all love, truth and being. This mantra not only carries the power and grace of Lord Datta, it is Lord Datta - there is no separation. This mantra is a spiritual catalyst. It serves as a uniquely effective tool for self-development, connecting us to our own inner guide, and leading us onto our individual paths towards unfoldment.
Inner awakening through sound ::
Deep within the elements of our existence, the sound vibrations created through chanting of the sanskrit words and syllables percolate, tuning the very structure of our being to perfect harmony. Just as scientists are finding that if they change the rate of vibration of the atoms of a material, the very substance and structure of the material will change; so we find that the soundless sounds of God's word are vibrating within, and automatically bringing the changes that we call spiritual unfoldment.
Mantra Japa :
One can begin his saadhana by doing japa of this mantra. Japa means reciting the mantra, continuously using the mala (rosary). The mala has 108 beads and is used for countng as well as for better concentration. one cna also recite the mantra for a fixed time everyday. First decide the time, place and the number of malas to be performed every day. Cleanliness is important during the saadhana period. Take abath everyday and wear celan clothes while doing the japa. one can begin the japa either on saturday, monday, or thursday by offering a shelled coconut (if available) in front of the Lord Datta's photo, use incense, light a wick lamp and offer flowers if possible. This is to purify the environment and to show your surrendering to sadguru because surrendering and faith plays a key role during sadhana. If you have a guru, feelthe existence of sadguru in your guru and if you don't have a guru then accept Lord Datta, the sadguru as your guru and begin your sadhana. By repeating the mantra HARI OM TATSAT JAIGURUDATTA, we receive the sbutle energy which gives us the experience of spontaneous meditation and initiates the process of unfoldment, purifying our minds and bodies. Chanting can be done either out loud in a group, or silently alone. Sit comfortably and repeat the mantra rhythmically and energetically for 15 minutes or more each day especially in the early morning. The length of time can vary according to your interests and capacities. After the chanting is over, sit quietly with closed eyes, without touching other, for 10 minutes. Absorb the energy received through the mantra. During the silence, do not continue the mantra mentally, unless the mantra continues on its own. If your mind wanders, simply relax and oberve your thoughts and let go of them.
EFFECTS :
With daily repetition and sincerity, the course of your meditation unfolds itself to you, without the help of a human guru, creating a feeling of joy and peace that can blossom into increased awareness and realization. Over all the body becomes purer, enjoyinghealings we might not have thought possible. The mind eased of worry, of pressures and stress, of hurry and confusion - grows calm, bringing synchrony in the analytical and intuitive hemispheres of the brain. And all our relationships from family to office, take on an increasing harmony and enjoyment. The ultimate goal which want to bless us with this meditation is the great peace born of Self-realization,l that we know ourselves to be reservoir of truth, of love, of humility. This is the knowledge of the Supreme that alone will fill us, make us complete and allow us to be true servants. Please do this sadhana and enjoy your life will full peace and happiness.
What does this mantra mean?
The mantra is written in Sanskrit, a very ancient language originating from what is today India. Modern day studies have shown this language to have an influence on many languages spoken today, including English.
Hari – is the love, the power and the driving force of creation. Its is God’s love, the fire that burns away ignorance.
Om (or Aum) - represents the eternal substance of the Universe. Everything that exists is born, is sustained and then merges back in to its origin. Om represents these three states, and the state that lies beyond them – the origin.
Tat – is the universal consciousness, it is not thinking or thought, but the principle that allows thinking and thought to happen. Thinking is like the writing, Tat is like the paper it is written on, without the paper, there can be no writing.
Sat – means Truth and existence, the Truth without qualification, The Universal Truth and the absolute reality of pure existence.
Jai – means rejoicing, joy and victory of the highest respect, reverence and adoration.
Guru Datta – Guru literally means ‘bringer of light, remover of darkness’. A Guru is a Master, one who illuminates the Truth. Guru Datta is the Guru of Gurus, the Master of Masters, the one who was before all the other Masters could be (like Buddha, Krishna, Christ, Mohammed, etc). Just as water had to exist before the oceans could, Guru Datta represents the bare simple Universal Truth, that had to exist before any Master could, and so Guru Datta represents the Truth that all Masters speak of. The Truth that illuminates the Darkness, and brings light.
Hari Om Tatsat – This first part of the mantra translated means:
The love, power and driving force which is the love of God,
The eternal substance of the Universe, from which all is made,
And the Universal Consciousness, the intelligence of Creation,
That is the only Truth, That is the only Existence.
Jai Guru Datta – The second Part of the mantra translated means:
Let us rejoice, and fill our hearts with joy,
The One who lights the darkness, is the Light
The One who illuminates the Truth, is the Truth
Guru Datta is within us all.

Mantras and Meditation
This mantra, Hari Om Tat Sat Jai Guru Datta, is said to be a siddhi mantra with the power to yield spontaneous meditation and initiate a purification that eventually awakens the kundalini force within. The power of Lord Datta himself is reportedly the key to the special quality of personal unfoldment here, for his energy is said to be working with the aspirant through this mantra. Initially, each individual has a unique experience with the mantra, for each person has a different karma. But all ultimately "become centered, uncomplicated, able to learn and develop from within, without the help of an external guru."
Guru Datta, usually symbolized as a being with three heads and six arms to portray his essence as Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, is described as that which is beyond form but was experienced in form by Swami Punitachariji "Bapu" - as a result of his years of spiritual sadhana. Bapu describes that experience:
"The atmosphere was very calm and peaceful; Lord Datta was sitting on a rock in perfect meditation. The siddhas and saints of the past and present were showering flowers upon him from space and were chanting the mantra Hari Om Tat Sat Jai Guru Datta to music." At this point Bapu says he was filled with joy and bliss and lost all desires. And when Lord Datta asked him if he had any wish, Bapu said, "Oh Sadguru, I know that after seeing you one becomes desireless; however if there still remains some good desire then I consider that it must be rising with your inner inspiration. If you want to offer me something more, please give me some unique thing for humanity." In response to this request. Lord Datta apparently gave Bapu the mantra Hari Om Tat Sat Jai Guru Datta for the benefit of mankind and described its meaning thusly: "This is the mantra of Brahman, Essence, the Absolute. Men will benefit through this mantra by elevating their awareness and will experience peace and joy."
Bapu became a vehicle for Lord Datta after this experience and started a movement of sorts, balanced on faith and centered in personal experience. In the US his work is continued by Shantibaba, a gentle soft-spoken man in his mid-forties who claims no personal attainments of his own save those naturally gained through repeating this one mantra.
Very little religious or spiritual philosophy is put forward along with this mantra, although during retreats and meditation sessions passages are sometimes read from Yoga Vasistha.Anyone can take up its practice. There are no restrictions of any kind. Nor are there rigid requirements such as the observance of special diet, brahmachariya, pranayama, hatha yoga or specific meditation techniques. The mantra is said to do everything. Claims for its immediate effects range from weight loss and spontaneous dietetic alterations to an uncontrollable sense of restlessness, all for the sake of bringing the aspirant in line with his own, pure, inner being. It is described as "a living seed of spirituality" that fulfills a great need in the "present dark age of spirituality" when it is "almost impossible to find a spiritual master or purified soul" and easy to be "misguided by 'holy men' pretending to be spiritual masters." Those who practice its repetition with regularity encourage anyone of any religious background to give it a try.
"During the few months that I have been chanting this mantra, I cannot think of any area of my life that has NOT undergone change - most pleasant, some unpleasant, but all much needed," says Joan Fields of California. "I have undergone both planned and spontaneous physical cleansings, quit a 20-year smoking habit, and experienced a multitude of insights, spiritual highs, and the most profound meditations of my life. And best of all, I've only just begun this wonderful spiritual adventure!"
"I began to practice the mantra regularly, doing dhoon with a group and malas and meditation at home," says Russell Schreiber of Colorado. "After a few dhoons, my mind began to chant the mantra automatically all day and at least part of the night. During this period, which lasted about two weeks, I had a large amount of physical energy and exuberance, getting large amounts of work done. And slowly I began to have some experiences in my meditation."
Bapu himself resides in India at Girnar Sadhana Ashram in Junagadh (Gujarat). The ashram is reportedly very popular, and plans are to expand the facilities with a number of meditation huts and shrines to Lord Dattatreya.
Shantibaba describes Bapu and the mantra in the following way: "Bapu-we don't know how old he is, maybe in his high sixties-spent the last 45 years traveling from the Himalayas to the Ganges. He has done his sadhana searching for the truth. After spending 12 years on Mount Girnar, he had a physical meeting with Lord Dattatreya. And there he heard the mantra. This mantra is in the language of the siddhas. It is a siddha mantra. It brings its own live energy with it. It works through the inner yoga. That is the mystic way, the mystic yoga. How does it work? We still don't know. But the promise that came with the mantra was that it would bring a set of experiences to an individual according to the design of their mind, body and past conditionings-that it would work through purification and transformation. This mantra brings the right experience for you, creating the trust and faith and still beginning the purification that eventually connects you to your own inner guide, your own higher self, your own spirit. This is a three-pan process. First peace, then purification and then the joy. Each one of us has to experience it."
"I heard about this," says Shantibaba, "when I was in India seven or eight years ago. I went to a meeting. There were 100 people or so. And I got some kind of experience chanting. After the chanting was over, I couldn't even move. But I was an intellectual and did not believe in just faith. I wanted to try more, test more. I went to [Bapu's] Ashram and tried to figure it out. It did not make any more sense, so, I thought, maybe I should do some japa with the people in the small villages close by. Then, I will see. So I went to the villages and tried the chant with the people, and they started to have experiences with this one mantra. They were completely illiterate and did not know anything about this mantra. But they were falling down and having these experiences. So, I was thinking, well, this mantra does have something. It works. And it works for anyone. I got convinced."

Our vision
Our vision is to see a world where peace presides, and where all individuals are empowered to find enlightenment, regardless of religion, caste, creed, colour or sex.
In todays modern society, technology seems to find a solution for almost anything. However, despite our best efforts, there is still much in the way of stress and disharmony in our world.
Through the use of the mantra ‘Hari Om Tatsat Jai Guru Datta’ we would like to promote a new way of living. A way of living with love and respect for all others around us, and for the world and universe we live in.
There are many paths to the Truth, and to Enlightenment. Meditation is one such path. By spending time regularly practicing meditation, one starts the journey through the inner self, bringing harmony to body, mind and spirit. Slowly but surely the glow of pure consciousness starts to manifest itself, the same pure consciousness which powers every living entity, and ultimately the universe itself.
Meditation is by its very nature a challenge to the modern mind. Meditation brings in to focus our own inner world, but the modern mind has always been conditioned to focus on the outer world around us. The mantra ‘Hari Om Tatsat Jai Guru Datta’ allows the modern mind to experience the age old, and coveted state of meditation in a spontaneous manner (sahaja dhyan) – bringing balance and allowing the onset of harmony, in the inner minds of those who meditate and in the outer world all around us.
We do not charge anyone for the mantra, or to learn how to use it. We firmly and simply believe that this divine mantra should be accessible to anyone who wants it.

Sadgurus or Perfect Masters
Sadgurus or Perfect Masters are in reality, the seers who have realized the Absolute or have reached the highest realm of spiritual attainment, are present for ever in the whole universe whether in an embodied or in an un-embodied state. They can operate in gross, subtle, or mental world. They have been actually chosen to execute the Divine Mission and for that, free from individual ego, work together for the execution of the Divine Mission.
A Sadguru is the one who leads the created to the creator. Their actions are universal in nature cutting across religions, nations and all divisions of society. In fact the descent of the Divine in human form is to create conditions for the human to ascend to his Divine essence. Everything that happens is but the expression of the Divine Will and the descent of the Divine energy and the ascent of the human aspiration are mutually complementary
Shri Krishna recommended, we should approach the wise Teacher "Learn THAT (Eternal Truth, the Brahman) by humble reverence, by inquiry and by service. The men of wisdom who have seen the Truth will instruct you in that wisdom".
Sadgurus are infinite existence, infinite knowledge and infinite bliss.
The form of Guru is the root of meditation,
The feet of the Guru are the root of worship,
The teaching of the Guru is the root of all hymns and
The Grace of the Guru is the root of salvation.
The Sadgurus or perfect masters are born at different times in different places and with different cultural backgrounds.
Strangely enough their external situations may be widely variant but their actions in their embodied stages display a common theme and common approach to solve the human problems.
Lord Dattatreya was the primal manifestation in the Guru tradition.
"I bow to him the Sadguru who is the embodiment of the bliss of Brahman, the bestower of Supreme happiness, the absolute, and the personification of pure knowledge, who is beyond duality (as pleasure and pain). He is all pervasive like the sky. He is the final goal of the Vedic dictum "Thou art that!" He is one eternal. Pure, Steadfast and the witness of all thoughts, abiding ever beyond all modifications of mind and body and attributes of the three gunas - Raja, tama and sattva (all the three qualities of passion, ignorance and excellence). "
